Mauao

Georgia, this is my latest blackboard drawing for our class. Perhaps you could draw it at home while you get better and recall the Mauao myth in your own words.
We hope that you are getting better fast!

Week 7

This coming week will be my first one with you for a while as Miss Lee has been your guest teacher. EXCEPT that Tuesday the 7s tournaments are on with 95% of our class out at different locations. Then the rest of the week is taken up with ski camp for most of you.
Because I am so gloriously kind your only homework will be to complete and practise your speech for our senior competition in week 8.
Good luck tournamenters, skiers and speech crafters. Have a blast.

Declan's Dad is the maths whizz in his house tonight. Congratulations on winning the maths game that Declan taught you. Perhaps you could have a street competition!

Remember to use capital letters when you make a comment on our class blog. The whole world can see it any time they like.
Did you notice how capitals were left out of a few of the titles on the right hand side of our blog? Weird. It bugs me. What do you think?

Georgia where are you?????

Luke, you are the winner of the Star Wars gadget. You correctly named your favourite author, the title of the book and shared an extract (this did need quotation marks, perhaps next time). J.K. Rowling is a stunning author. Her books can be read again and again and again and again.

Tuesday, 12 August 2008

Thanks to the two people who have left their opinion about their favourite author. The prize will be given for including an extract from a book by that author too. Remember that titles and the author's name begin with capitals!!!! 'ARGH!' you will hear Mr Wadsworth screaming if they are missing. An extract must have quotation marks around them " " also.
Miss Lee is keenly awaiting your suggestions about games to play. These MUST be made on the blog only!

This is her last teaching practicum before she has her own class next year.
We are loving having her enthusiastic approach to teaching in our class. Miss Lee will have at least three weeks full control teaching in our class. Lucky us!
Wow, Natasha that was fast. It also means that you are able to post comments now. Could you please be a class expert on how to do this? Thanks.
